We are probably only one of seven couples in the world that celebrate our engagement anniversary, but we do. It has been nine years since we officially decided to tie the knot. It is kind of amazing how completely our lives have changed since then, and it is hard to even remember a time when we weren’t together. Life is good.
Nine years ago today.
The kids were excited about the yummy treats Nate left us in the morning. In Ben’s words: "I’m glad that Dad married you so he can be nice to us and buy us donuts."

I'm so impressed that you noticed. I didn't. He even used 9 donuts for our 9th anniversary. I just saw donuts and started eating. Luckily he took a picture in case the kids messed them up before I saw them. He is a thoughtful boy!
Adam and I totally celebrate our engagement anniversary as well as our first meeting anniversary and our first date anniversary. It's nice to know we aren't the only crazy ones out there! :-)
I love the picture of the proposal. That is so cool that he had someone hiding out to snap some photos. I would love a picture of when Matt proposed. Totally sweet!
