Family Fun Day

We took the kids to Salt Lake yesterday for a special family outing. We rode the FrontRunner train down and went to the Gateway so the kids could play in the cool fountains. After they had had their fill of playing in the water, we went to the food court for lunch and then stopped at Discovery Gateway so they could put pennies in the big coin funnel. We gave them each about 25 pennies to put in. It was cheap entertainment, but they loved it. We decided that since we were so close, we would ride TRAX over to Temple Square. We didn’t stay too long, but we took the kids over to the temple and up to the statue of Christ. It was a nice little detour. We finished the day off with frosties at Wendy’s on the way home.

Ben lost his tooth before we left on Saturday. Here is a picture of him on Friday night. His tooth was so loose that he kept sticking it out in front of his lower lip. He looked just like Nanny McPhee.
